BridgeShield™

Turn Standards into Actions

BridgeShield™ is Stonebridge Strategic’s blended training and exercise program that helps workplaces build, validate, and practice a clear Emergency Action Plan (EAP) so people know exactly what to do in the first minutes of a critical incident. It aligns with OSHA’s Emergency Action Plan requirements and employee alarm rules, CISA’s Active Assailant EAP resources, FEMA/NIMS plain-language guidance, NFPA 3000 (ASHER) program context, and ASIS’s Workplace Violence & Active Assailant standard.

Who It's For

Organizations that need practical, standards-informed readiness without theatrics or jargon:

  • Organizations and Individuals
  • Corporate offices and campuses
  • Hotels, retail, venues, faith-based and schools
  • Healthcare and clinics, light industrial, logistic
  • Municipal and special districts

Outcomes You Can Expect

  • A concise, OSHA-ready Emergency Action Plan that people can actually follow.
  • A right-sized notification/alerting approach mapped to your facility and workforce.
  • Tabletop-tested roles, routes, rally points, and accountability steps using plain language per NIMS.
  • Integrated prevention/intervention touchpoints aligned to ASIS WVPI/AA-2020
  • Active-assailant EAP elements that reflect current federal guidance.

How BridgeShield™ Works

We offer two building blocks. Choose Essential (Day 1), then add Pro Day (Day 2) for deeper drills and documentation.

Day 1 — BridgeShield™ Essential (Awareness + Tabletop, ~8 hours)

A practical, standards-aligned workshop that builds or tunes your written Emergency Action Plan (EAP), clarifies roles, and pressure-tests decisions in a guided tabletop. You’ll cover OSHA EAP minimums (reporting, evacuation/shelter, accountability, rescue/medical duties) and how your alarms/notifications should work in practice, using plain language as NIMS recommends.

Day 2 — BridgeShield™ Pro Day (Hands-On Practicum, ~6–7 hours)
A focused day of micro-drills, route checks, and announcement reps that finalize artifacts you can keep: EAP, quick-reference cards, muster maps, and an annual exercise plan. Active-assailant elements are integrated using CISA’s EAP resources and the whole-community coordination principles from NFPA 3000.

Standards & Guidance We Align To

  • OSHA 29 CFR 1910.38 – Emergency Action Plans and 1910.165 – Employee Alarm Systems.
  • CISA Active Assailant/Active Shooter EAP Product Suite and Instructional Guide to the EAP Template.
  • FEMA/NIMS emphasis on plain-language communications and integrated incident management.
  • NFPA 3000 (ASHER) program context for community-wide coordination
  • ASIS WVPI/AA-2020 (Workplace Violence & Active Assailant) for prevention/intervention program elements.

Why Clients Choose Us

  • We come to you (on-site delivery). Train your whole team on your turf, fewer travel days, no hotels or per diems, and less downtime. On-site sessions scale well and avoid the off-site costs that stack up fast.
  • Real cost avoidance, not theatrics. Well-built EAPs and practical training reduce the frequency and severity of injuries, OSHA notes they lead to “fewer and less severe” injuries and less facility damage during emergencies. That matters when U.S. employers face $176.5B in annual work-injury costs (~$43,000 per medically consulted injury) and ~$58B/yr from the top serious-injury causes alone.
  • Lower risk of high-impact events. Violence-related incidents and other serious events drive significant workers’ comp, medical, and productivity losses; focusing on prevention, clear roles, and faster response helps limit those impacts. (BLS counted 57,610 nonfatal workplace-violence cases requiring days away from work in 2021–2022; some sectors report multi-billion-dollar burdens).
  • It’s practical. Plain-language, no-nonsense training that people remember under stress.
  • It fits your site. We use your floor plans, your shifts, your constraints.
  • It’s compliant-minded. We make it easy to show due diligence against OSHA and recognized best practices.
  • It scales. From a single office to multi-site portfolios and campuses.
  • It sticks. You leave with a real plan, quick-refs, and an exercise calendar, not just a slideshow.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@stonebridgestrategic.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

A two-step, on-site program that turns standards into actions for the first minutes of an emergency. Essentials is a one-day awareness + tabletop (no live drill). Pro Day is a one-day, scenario-driven exercise that validates your written EAP under realistic, controlled conditions.

  • Essentials (≈8 hrs): Align leaders/wardens on your EAP, practice first-minute decisions, and run a 3-inject tabletop. No alarms or live movement.

  • Pro Day (≈6–7 hrs): Live, scenario-driven reps that test notifications, 911 call quality, evacuate vs. secure-in-place choices, movement and accountability, and role coordination—culminating in an HSEEP-style AAR/IP.

OSHA 1910.38 (EAP) and related employee-alarm intent, CISA Active Assailant EAP guidance, FEMA/NIMS plain language, HSEEP exercise methodology, NFPA 3000 (ASHER) coordination concepts, and ASIS WVPI/AA-2020 for prevention/policy linkage.

No. Essentials is discussion-based. Live actions happen on Pro Day, with clear safety controls.

  • Speed & clarity of notifications (internal alert + 911 call content/latency)

  • Decision quality (evacuate vs. secure-in-place based on cues)

  • Movement or room-hardening times and accountability (target ≥95% accounted within a defined window)

  • Role coordination across incident lead, wardens, HR/comms, security, property management (and optional LE/dispatch observer coordination)

No real 911/alarm activations without pre-coordination. Clear safety briefing, plain-language only (no codes), accessibility considerations, scripted pauses, and an exercise controller to halt or reset as needed.

  • Essentials audience: all staff members, managers, supervisors, Safety/HR, floor wardens. Ideal for 20 participants (cap by room/quality).

  • Pro Day participants: the same leaders/wardens plus the functions that execute notifications, access control, and headcount.

  • Lead Instructor: on-site facilitation and exercise control.

  • Remote Producer: timing, polls, note capture, artifact photos, same-day summary (Essentials) and evidence packaging (Pro Day).

5–10 days prior: latest EAP or draft, floor plans/assembly points, internal alerting method, headcount method, roster. Assign a 10–15 min pre-read of the CISA EAP overview to attendees.

  • Essentials (1 day): $4,500 + travel

  • Pro Day (1 day add-on): $7,000 + travel (same overage)

  • Bundle (2 days): $11,500 + travel (same overage)
